About Me

What can I say? I have been writing since I first learned how and never stopped.

I always look for the beauty in the weird and wonderful. I look for the unconventional and zany stories because they are often the most human and most real.

I have worked in the past as a freelancer for The Meliorist Publishing Society, then as a columnist, then as the Assistant Editor to the EIC.

I have a Bachelors of Arts degree with a specialization in 2SLGBTQIA+ history from the University of Lethbridge, and a Journalism diploma from SAIT.

My history degree helps me consider historical and culturally perspectives when approaching sensitive subjects, politics, economics, societal change and environmental impacts.

Research became my bread and butter. Understanding different perspectives brought me such joy and still does. Learning continually and listening is a privilege that I am forever grateful for.

I am naturally curious and a "chronic yapper."

When I am not writing, I am curled up with a good book and my snuggly cat Mister Bibs.
